Thanksgiving Recap
We spent a low-key thanksgiving just cooking for ourselves this year. No family, no friends, just good food. We were a little late in the game getting our un-turkey, so we ended up making a Tofurkey instead of the fabulous Celebration Roast like some other people. All in all, it was a smashing success. On the menu was:
- - Homemade French Bread
- - Tofurkey with stuffing
- - Mashed potatoes with green onions and gravy
- - Green bean casserole
- - Cranberry sauce
But the true highlight of the afternoon was homemade cinnamon rolls for dessert!
And to top it all off, some of Bob’s homemade boysenberry cider.
Mission accomplished.
