Thanksgiving Recap

Posted by Kevin | Food | Friday 28 November 2008 8:52 am

We spent a low-key thanksgiving just cooking for ourselves this year. No family, no friends, just good food. We were a little late in the game getting our un-turkey, so we ended up making a Tofurkey instead of the fabulous Celebration Roast like some other people. All in all, it was a smashing success. On the menu was:

  • - Homemade French Bread
  • - Tofurkey with stuffing
  • - Mashed potatoes with green onions and gravy
  • - Green bean casserole
  • - Cranberry sauce

But the true highlight of the afternoon was homemade cinnamon rolls for dessert!

And to top it all off, some of Bob’s homemade boysenberry cider.

Mission accomplished.
