Ten days into this fruitarian diet I think I’m finally starting to get used to it. When I got home tonight, it was the first evening that I didn’t really crave something salty and actually wanted another fruit smoothie. I ended up having some dried fruit that was around and a handful of nuts and juice. It doesn’t sound like much, but it actually ends up being pretty filling. I’ve noticed that changing my eating habits to rely on a bunch of small meals and snacks prevents me from getting that “I’m starved” feeling all the time. For breakfast I had another smoothie. This one was banana, orange, grape juice, frozen cranberries and ice. I’ll probably forgo grape juice in my smoothies in the future. It makes it too sweet. Lunch was fresh fruit again as well as a Larabar. So far, the only Larabar that I’ve really liked is the peanut, but it’s fun to try all the different flavors. I could pretty much make it an entire day eating those peanut bars, they are that good.
