Kevin Lien – Editor Kevin is the creator, designer, owner and mail clerk of The Vegan Collection and The Vegan Collection Blog. A vegan of 16 years and counting, he grew up in the Midwest, living in South Dakota for most of his life until moving to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota where he got his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During his college years he was a member of a handful of animal rights organizations until moving to Los Angeles in 2001. When not spending his days as a graphic designer he volunteers for LA Animal Services in an attempt to make a small difference in the lives of pets stuck in horrible situations. Along with writing for The Vegan Collection Blog, Kevin also writes and edits the music blog The Sound Of Indie. The minimal free time he has is spent hiking with his girlfriend trying to wear out their two dogs. |

Kelly Leach Kelly is a 3rd year Environmental Occupational Health Science student at California State University Northridge. While attending CSU Northridge she currently works within the EOH Department’s Office and Housing Laboratories. A dedicated vegan and environmentalist Kelly strives to achieve a better understanding between human, animal and environmental health within her profession. She hopes in the future to continue to work within her department as an instructor part time while working within the industry. Kelly is a California native. Originally born in Santa Monica, at age 8, Kelly moved and attended high school in the Ventura County. Into her twenties she moved to Silver Lake, CA and currently resides with her boyfriend and two doggies, Cheswick, and Sampras in Lincoln Heights, CA. In her free time she enjoys contemporary art, and film as well as traveling, visiting museums, music shows, and independent film |
